Did you know how affordable it can be to holiday like a celeb?

I don’t know about you, but I’m often envious when I see pictures of celebrities on holiday. You just know they’re staying in incredible places, and I’ve always wanted to see the type of accommodation they choose.

Luckily, Schofields has done some research and found some amazing celebrity homes that we can enjoy on holiday without going bankrupt.

You’ve probably heard of the gorgeous Elizabeth Taylor, but did you know you can stay in her Palm Springs home for a week for only £372 per person? The home features plenty of oil paintings and photos of Elizabeth, along with a pool, spa and fire- a better experience than staying in a hotel and likely cheaper!

If you have a big event planned, the Merv Griffin Estate is an excellent option. Up to 20 people can enjoy the estate, which has 13 bathrooms, a private pond for paddle boating, and a relaxing infinity pool. If you want to really splurge and do it in style with your nearest and dearest, it’ll cost you £1375 per person for the week and you’ll have some incredible photos and memories.

Christy Brinkley has a beautiful home available for rent, and as you can expect, it’s as stylish as she is. This is named the “Lucky House”, and you can pretend to be a supermodel while floating in the 45-foot infinity pool, lounging on the decking area and cuddling up next to the beachside fire pit with some smores.

We’ve all heard of Richard Branson, so it probably won’t surprise you to learn that he has a home in the British Virgin Islands, where you’ll find some of the most stunning beaches in the world. This is the place to go if you’re planning a wedding or another special occasion, and up to 30 people can stay in the home which has many different activities available to try.

For those who are interested in the lives of celebrities, consider staying in the Orson Wells estate. You’ll find it atop Sunset Boulevard, with great photos of the Hollywood Hills in LA, and you can spend time relaxing, Instagramming that view, lounging in the jacuzzi, or swimming in the lagoon pool. Barbara Streisand, David Bowie, Rita Hayworth and Frank Sinatra have all stayed here, and you can stay for a teeny tiny £455 per person for the week (the house can sleep 8 people).

Feel like staying somewhere where Mick Jagger used to spend his time? Consider staying in the beautiful beachfront villa, which has no doubt seen some incredible parties. The villa is designed and decorated in a Japanese style, and has six pavilions, all connected together with a walkway so guests have privacy but can still easily get around. You’ll pay just £1,244 per person for the week, and this is guaranteed to be one vacation that you’ll be talking about and sharing photos of for years.
