We all love a good night out but, when it comes to luxury, not every establishment is created equal. Though Manchester has a lot to offer to those who want a fancy night out, there are a few places that absolutely outshine their competitors on almost every level. So, we thought we’d take a look at some of our favourites:
The French by Simon Rogan
The Midland Hotel
When it comes to home-grown luxury, few establishments have more to offer than The French at The Midland Hotel. Not only is the seasonal produce locally sourced, but Head Chef Adam Reid was also born in Manchester and trained at Bridgewater Hall. Throughout his career, Reid has worked at numerous Michelin-starred restaurants, has received four AA rosettes and even won the BBC’s Great British Menu show. The menus Reid has created at The French consist of modern British dishes, while the dining area situated in the Grade II building has a relaxed yet luxurious atmosphere.
Great Northern Warehouse
If you’re looking for a luxury night out with dining, drinks and games then there is nowhere more appropriate than Manchester235. There, visitors will find James Martin Manchester, all night bars and, of course, Manchester’s number one casino. Within the open plan casino guests are able to indulge in American Roulette, Blackjack, Punto Banco, Three Card Poker and numerous different slots, some of which have £20,000 jackpots. There’s also a Poker Lounge with twelve professional, full-sized tables where games that are usually only found online at sites like 888casino these days such as tournaments, cash games and progressive jackpots are almost always occurring.
Described as “unconventionally traditional” on their website, Manchester House is renowned around the city for offering the usual dishes in very unusual fashions. There are ten-course tasting menus available, as well as fourteen-course tasting menus and a la carte menus. You see, rather than full meals, Manchester House is all about the experience and experimenting. Plus, anyone who loves wine will have a great time at this bar as their selection is truly extraordinary.
What do you think of our picks? Have you ever been to any of these places? If so, what did you think? We’d love to know your opinions in the comments below.
Hi, my name is Simon and I love travel. I got sick of the same travel articles over and over, trying to tell you how to travel, so I made my own site. Stick around for some sweet travel tips and let me know what you think. Cheers
