The United States remains one of the best place for travellers- mostly due to its sheer size and diversity. If you’re planning a trip to the United States, trying to pick where to go can be the most difficult part- after all, there are so many cities and states to choose from.

Here are some of the top destinations for your next trip to the United States:

Chicago has midwest charm with big city living, making it a favourite for travellers and expats. Sure, the winter blows. But if you visit in spring, summer, or fall, you’ll be able to enjoy an eclectic mix with the beach, river, skyline, clubs, restaurants, and shopping keeping you busy. Even though the winter is miserable, shopping along the Magnificent Mile is a must in the weeks leading up to Christmas.

The food is also incredible in Chicago- try the deep dish pizza and enjoy a huge range of foods from all over the world.

San Diego

San Diego is a great destination for everyone- whether you’re visiting on a romantic vacation or you’re bringing the kids. With San Diego Zoo and SeaWorld attracting families from around the world and Mission Beach and La Jolla attracting couples and younger travellers, you’ll be spoiled for choice.

Head to Coronado to explore cute tourist shops and grab a coffee in the sun. Take a walk in Old Town, and grab a delicious meal in Little Italy.

Orlando isn’t just for kids you guys. Sure, families love the city because there are some amazing Florida theme parks to visit here. But adults can also let their inner kids run free and wild in Universal Studios, Disney World, and more. Check out Harry Potter World or enjoy rides like Space Mountain and The Hulk. When you’re tired of the parks, check out some of the many restaurants and clubs in Orlando or head south to Miami for a few days.

Surprised to see Atlanta on this list? Atlanta is having a moment right now, with tourists from around the world descending on the city. The city has been at the center of the Civil Rights Movement, and Martin Luther King Jr was born here. When you’re finished checking out the museums, let your inner foodie out in the Sweet Auburn Curb Market, which is home to twenty-four businesses. Or head to the Atlanta Food Truck Park. The nightlife here is also awesome, and is jam-packed with comedy clubs, live music venues, nightclubs, bars, and more.
