Top places to see in the United States

If you’re thinking about taking a trip to the United States, you may be wondering exactly where you should go. After all, this is a massive country with so much to see and do. If this sounds like you, here are some top places to see in the United States:

Florida is jam packed with activities and sights to see- especially if you’re travelling with kids. In Orlando, you’ll need at least a few days to explore the theme parks, and they’re a fun time for both kids and adults. Get your Orlando park tickets early so you can save money and you won’t have to waste time in line when you arrive.

Miami is also an incredible place to hang out for a few days, and you’ll love the food, clubbing, beaches, and shopping. If you get a chance, spot alligators in the Everglades or had down to Key West for a beach-town vibe.

San Diego

One of the great things about visiting San Diego is you can visit at any time of the year and you’re almost guaranteed great weather. This is another city where you’ll find plenty of activities for the whole family, along with some of the best Tex-Mex you’ve ever eaten. If you have a few extra days, consider walking across the border to Tijuana (check your travel advisory first) and eating some truly great Mexican food.

New York

There’s a reason New York is one of the most popular tourist destinations in the United States. The city that never sleeps is packed with restaurants, bars, museums, parks, clubs, and everything else you could possibly need to have an amazing time. Don’t believe the rumors- New Yorkers are nicer than they’re given credit for, and most of them are willing to help out a lost tourist- whether you need directions or a recommendation.

Washington D.C

D.C feels a little like a baby city, since none of the buildings can be taller than the Washington Monument. But there’s tons to do here, whether you feel like shopping in Georgetown, taking the hop-on-hop-off tour, or visiting the museums and monuments. If you have a car, consider taking a road trip to Annapolis in Maryland for a day and eat all the seafood and ice cream.

Have you been to the United States? What are your favorite places to visit?
